Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Northern San Saba County in west central Texas...
* WHEN...Until 545 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 350 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain of up to 2
inches in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Skeeterville, Elm Grove, Hall, Locker and Spring Creek.

crossings along County Road 246 and crossings along County Road
244.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
