* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southern Runnels County in west central Texas... * WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 304 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain of up to 2 inches has fallen in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ballinger, Miles, Hatchel, Rowena, Benoit and Ballinger Lake. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... FM 1692 crossing The Draw, County Road 156 crossing Eagle Branch, County Road 351 crossing Bluff Creek, County Road 334 crossing Little Coyote Creek, crossings along County Road 334, County Road 337 crossing Coyote Creek, County Road 334 crossing Big Coyote Creek, County Road 351 crossing Elm Creek, County Road 330 crossing Elm Creek and CR 348 crossing Coyote Creek. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
