Description:
At 622 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Peepace Store to near Surgoinsville. Movement
was northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Gate City, Big Stone Gap, Pennington Gap, Appalachia, Nickelsville,
St. Charles, Duffield, Clinchport, Dryden, and Jasper.
