Description:
At 729 PM EDT/629 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm near Signal Mountain, or 11 miles northeast of Jasper,
moving south at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Chattanooga, Signal Mountain, Walden, Whitwell, Ridgeside, Fairmount,
Red Bank, Powells Crossroads, Martin Springs, and Lookout Mountain.
Instruction:
