Description:
At 1127 PM EDT/1027 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm near Jasper, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Chattanooga, Jasper, Signal Mountain, Kimball, Ridgeside, Red Bank,
Lookout Mountain, Haletown (guild), New Hope, and East Ridge.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
