Description:
At 101 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cayce, or 7 miles north of Union City, moving southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Martin, Union City, Fulton, Dresden, South Fulton, Gleason, Troy,
Kenton, Obion, Sharon, Latham, Palmersville, Clayton, Trimble,
Woodland Mills, Rives, Sandhill, Mason Hall, Mount Pelia, and Glass.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
west Tennessee.
