Description:
At 449 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 7 miles southwest of Dayton, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Cleveland, Athens, Dayton, Decatur, Soddy-Daisy, Charleston,
Graysville, Calhoun, Riceville, and Hillsview.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
east Tennessee.
