Description: 
At 1203 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Smoky Mountains-Twentymile Creek, or 13 miles north of Robbinsville, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountains-Newfound Gap, Smoky Mountains-Twentymile Creek, Smoky Mountains-Fontana Area, Townsend, Tariffville, Citico Beach, Citico, Talassee, and Cades Cove.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until this storm passes.
