* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southwestern Blount County in east Tennessee... Central Monroe County in east Tennessee... * WHEN...Until 145 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1220 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported minor flooding continuing in and around Madisonville, TN due to recent rainfall. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen since this morning. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible over the area over the next few hours. This additional rain will likely result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Madisonville, Tariffville, Citico Beach, Citico, Talassee and Mount Vernon. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
