* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.
* WHERE...A portion of east Tennessee, including the following
counties, Anderson, Campbell, Grainger, Jefferson, Knox, Sevier
and Union.
* WHEN...Until 400 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 140 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the
advisory area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Morristown, Sevierville, Clinton,
Jefferson City, Dandridge, Maynardville, Oliver Springs,
Plainview, New Market, Strawberry Plains, Halls, Blaine,
Rocky Top, Norris, Luttrell, Maloneyville, Paulette and House
Mountain State Park.

Interstate 75 in Tennessee between mile markers 108 and 131.
Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 381 and 422.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
