* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of east Tennessee, including the following
counties, Blount, Knox and Sevier.
* WHEN...Until 1000 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 653 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported minor flooding
in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Maryville, Sevierville, Alcoa,
Farragut, Pigeon Forge, Louisville, Rockford, Eagleton
Village, Strawberry Plains, Halls, Friendsville, Lake Forest,
Bearden, Seymour, Wildwood, Kimberlin Heights, Maloneyville
and Powell.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
