At 257 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Rockerville, or
9 miles southwest of Rapid City, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage
to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
Locations impacted include...
Rockerville, Bear Country and Reptile Gardens.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail.
