Description:
At 113 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles east of
Mound City, or 11 miles southeast of Herreid, moving southeast at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage
to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
Locations impacted include...
Mound City.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
