Description:
At 540 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Porcupine, or 17 miles northeast of Pine Ridge, moving southeast at
25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Porcupine, Wounded Knee, Batesland, Wakpamni, Swett, Porcupine
Butte Housing and southern Pine Ridge Reservation.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
