Description: 
At 1203 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from over Takini to over Delta 9 Missile Silo, or extending from 29 miles south of Faith to 26 miles west of Philip, moving north at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Pinnacles Ranger Station, Wall, Creighton, Billsburg, Milesville, Delta 9 Missile Silo, southwestern Cheyenne River Reservation, Bridger, Takini, Quinn, Cherry Creek, Howes, Red Scaffold, Grindstone, Intersection of Cherry Creek and Sunnybrook Roads and Grindstone Butte. This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 101 and 123.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
