Description:
At 313 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Villages at
Sandhill, or near Columbia, moving east at 5 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
trees and powerlines.
Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Forest Acres, Dentsville, Arcadia Lakes, Lugoff, Woodfield,
Sesquicentennial State Park, Lake Carolina, Villages at Sandhill,
Fort Jackson, Elgin, Killian, Blythewood, Fort Jackson Wildcat Road,
and Fort Jackson McCrady Training Center.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 71 and 97.
Interstate 77 between mile markers 14 and 27.
Instruction:

building.
