South central Richland County in central South Carolina... * Until 715 PM EDT. * At 638 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sandy Run, or 10 miles south of Cayce, moving south at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines. * Locations impacted include... Gaston, Congaree National Park, Sandy Run, Swansea, North, Woodford, New Zion, Silver Lake, and Lexington Acres Pond. This includes Interstate 26 between mile markers 119 and 144.
