* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of central South Carolina, including the following areas, Bamberg, Calhoun, Central Orangeburg, Clarendon, Lexington, Northwestern Orangeburg, Richland, Southeastern Orangeburg and Sumter. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop along a nearly stationary boundary resulting in areas of heavy rainfall and localized flash flooding. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches, with locally higher amounts in excess of 5 inches, will be possible in and around the watch area. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
