Description:
At 230 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lugoff, or 7 miles southwest of Camden, moving south at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Camden, Lugoff, Boykin, Fort Jackson McCrady Training
Center, Dinkins Mill, Wateree River Correctional Institution,
Rembert, and Woodrow.
This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 87
and 101.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
