Description:
At 455 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Pawleys Island to near Sampit. Movement was
south at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Georgetown, DeBordieu Colony, Pawleys Island, Yawkey South Island,
Winyah Bay Entrance, North Santee, Sampit, Graves, Litchfield Beach,
Oatland, and Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
