At 655 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Aiken, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Aiken, Aiken Mall, Williston, New Ellenton, Citizens Park, Aiken Municipal Airport, USC Aiken, Graniteville, Gloverville, Elko, Windsor, and Hopeland Gardens. This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 18 and 22.
