* WHAT...East winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 55 kt and seas
14 to 19 ft.
* WHERE...Lake Borgne, Barataria Bay, Coastal Waters from
Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to Port Fourchon LA
out 20 nm, Coastal waters from Port Fourchon Louisiana to
Lower Atchafalaya River LA from 20 to 60 NM and Coastal waters
from Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to Port Fourchon
Louisiana from 20 to 60 NM.
* WHEN...Friday morning through Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...Tropical storm force winds and hazardous seas will
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
Instruction:
Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.
