Description:
* WHAT...For the first Small Craft Advisory, southeast winds 25
to 35 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and seas 7 to 8 ft expected.
For the first Gale Warning, east winds 40 to 50 kt with gusts
up to 65 kt and seas 13 to 18 ft expected. For the Storm
Warning, southeast winds 30 to 50 kt with gusts up to 60 kt
and seas 20 to 25 ft expected. For the second Gale Warning,
southeast winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and seas 17
to 22 ft expected. For the second Small Craft Advisory, south
winds 20 to 30 kt and seas 11 to 16 ft expected.
* WHERE...Cape Spencer to Cape Fairweather from 15 to 85 NM.
* WHEN...For the first Small Craft Advisory, from 7 PM to 10 PM
AKDT this evening. For the first Gale Warning, from 10 PM this
evening to 4 AM AKDT Thursday. For the Storm Warning, from 4
AM to 10 AM AKDT Thursday. For the second Gale Warning, from
10 AM to 4 PM AKDT Thursday. For the second Small Craft
Advisory, from 4 PM Thursday to 1 PM AKDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Storm force winds and hazardous seas will capsize or
damage vessels and reduce visibility.
Instruction:
Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
