Description:
* WHAT...For the Gale Warning, northeast winds 25 to 30 kt with
gusts up to 40 kt and seas 8 to 13 feet. For the Storm
Warning, northeast winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 55 kt
and seas 11 to 16 feet expected.
* WHERE...Sandy Hook NJ to Fire Island Inlet NY out 20 NM.
* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 6 PM EDT this evening. For
the Storm Warning, from 6 PM this evening to 6 AM EDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Storm force winds and hazardous seas will capsize or
damage vessels and reduce visibility.
Instruction:
Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
