Description:
At 331 PM AST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of San Sebastian, moving northwest at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and frequent lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
San Sebastian, Moca, Anasco, Las Marias, Lares, Mayaguez,
Aguadilla, Aguada, Quebradillas, Isabela, Rincon, Hato Arriba,
Aceitunas, Luyando, Caban, La Playa, San Antonio, Maricao, Espino
and Juncal.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
