Description:
At 1246 PM AST, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms over Arecibo, moving northwest at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. Funnel Cloud Possible.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Arecibo, Utuado, Hatillo, Camuy, Florida, Quebradillas, Isabela,
Bajadero, Rafael Capo, Rafael Gonzalez, La Alianza, San Antonio,
Pajonal, Imbery, Corcovado, Cayuco, Animas, Carrizales, Sabana
Hoyos and Quebrada.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
