Description:
At 727 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 6
miles north of Lecontes Mills to 7 miles south of Sandy, or along a
line from 13 miles northeast of Clearfield to 8 miles south of
DuBois, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
DuBois, Sandy, Parker Dam State Park, S.B. Elliot State Park,
Rockton, Plymptonville, Clearfield, Hyde, Lecontes Mills,
Curwensville, Woodland, Karthaus, Morrisdale, West Decatur,
Jeffries, Chester Hill, Houtzdale and Irvona.
This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 100 and 136.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.
