Description:
At 106 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Milesburg,
moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Bellefonte, Zion, Milesburg, Snow Shoe, Blanchard, Monument, Bald
Eagle State Park, Howard, Beech Creek, and Orviston.
For those driving on Interstate 80, this includes areas between the
Snow Shoe and Lamar exits, specifically from mile markers 148 to 169.
This includes Interstate 99 from mile markers 83 to 85.
Instruction:
Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
