Description:
At 1125 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Athens to 7 miles north of Clarktown, moving east
at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Jackson, Wellston, Point Pleasant, Gallipolis, Pomeroy, Mcarthur, Oak
Hill, Rio Grande, Albany, Racine, Rutland, Forked Run State Park, New
Haven, Mason, Tuppers Plains, Gallia, Waterloo, Middleport, Chester,
and Hamden.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
