Description:
At 940 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mechanicsburg,
moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Springfield, Dublin, Marysville, London, Jefferson, Plain City, West
Jefferson, South Charleston, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Choctaw
Lake, New California, Lake Darby, Harmony, Lisbon, Brighton, Milford
Center, Lafayette, South Vienna, and Woodstock.
This includes the following Interstates...
I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 57 and 86.
I-71 in Ohio between mile markers 84 and 87.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
