Description:
At 541 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast of
Lucasville, moving east at 65 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Portsmouth, Wheelersburg, New Boston, Greenup, South Webster,
Rosemount, Clarktown, Franklin Furnace, Sciotodale, Lucasville,
Beaver, Rarden, Wakefield, Minford, Sciotoville, Mount Joy, Bear
Creek, Stockdale, and Ladd.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM EDT for south central
Ohio.

building.
