Description:
At 542 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Chester, or
near Wellsville, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
East Liverpool, Wellsville, Toronto, Calcutta, Ohioville, Chester,
New Cumberland, Newell, Irondale, Empire, Stratton, Rogers,
Hammondsville, La Croft, Glenmoor, Beaver Creek State Park,
Tomlinson Run State Park and Lake Tomahawk.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.
