Description:
At 1120 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 6
miles southwest of Wintersville to 6 miles south of Barnesville, or
along a line from 8 miles southwest of Steubenville to 6 miles south
of Barnesville, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Wheeling, Steubenville, Moundsville, Martins Ferry, St.
Clairsville, Bellaire, Barnesville, Cadiz, Warwood, Wellsburg,
Bethlehem, West Liberty, Triadelphia, Avella, Clearview, Valley
Grove, Wintersville, Shadyside, Mingo Junction and Follansbee.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
