At 628 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles west of Powhatan Point, or 10 miles northeast of Woodsfield, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... New Martinsville, Woodsfield, Powhatan Point, Cameron, Hundred, Beallsville, Clarington, Jerusalem, Wilson, Alledonia, Somerton, New Freeport, Batesville, Miltonsburg, Woodlands, Proctor, Lynn Camp and Glen Easton.
Instruction: 
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large hail. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure.
