At 515 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Springfield, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Springfield, Urbana, London, New Carlisle, Northridge, West Jefferson, Enon, Mechanicsburg, Choctaw Lake, Harmony, Lisbon, Brighton, Christiansburg, North Hampton, Lafayette, South Vienna, Tremont City, Donnelsville, Catawba, and Mutual. This includes I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 47 and 80. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central and west central Ohio.
