Description:
At 453 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Niles, or over Warren, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Warren, Niles, Hubbard, Lordstown, Vienna Center, Hilltop, Maplewood
Park, Leavittsburg, Girard, Vienna, McDonald, Yankee Lake, Brookfield
Center, Churchill, Howland Center, Bolindale, West Hill, Mineral
Ridge, and Champion Heights.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
northeastern Ohio.
