Description:
At 706 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Garrettsville, or 14 miles northeast of Ravenna, moving southeast at
15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Newton Falls, Garrettsville, Mantua, West Farmington, Bristolville,
Leavittsburg, Parkman, Windham, Hiram, South Canal, Turnpike
Interchange, and Champion Heights.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
