Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Preble County, Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 759 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen, with the heaviest rainfall amounts in an area
between Eaton and West Alexandria. Additional rainfall
amounts of around a half inch are possible.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Eaton, Camden, West Alexandria, Gratis, Wheatville and
Oklahoma. This includes areas along Bantas Fork.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
