Description:
At 626 PM CDT /526 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located over
Alexander, or 16 miles west of Watford City, moving northeast at 40
mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Alexander, Arnegard, Trenton, Rawson, Charbonneau and Sather Dam.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
