Description:
At 535 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 16 miles west of
Four Bears Village, or 19 miles northeast of Watford City, moving
northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
New Town, Four Bears Village, 4 Bears Lodge, Van Hook Park, Keene,
Crow Flies High State Recreation Area, White Earth Bay Recreation
Area, Charlson, Johnsons Corner, Parshall Bay Recreation Area and
Fort Berthold.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
