Description:
At 1055 AM CDT /955 AM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 11
miles northeast of Hebron, or 18 miles south of Beulah, moving
northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported half dollar sized hail in Hebron
at 1052 am.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Glen Ullin and Hebron.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and has
produced large hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
