Description:
At 354 PM CDT /254 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 13
miles north of Killdeer, or 30 miles southeast of Watford City,
moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Mesonet reported.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Mckenzie Bay Recreation Area, Little Missouri State Park, Skunk
Creek Bay Recreation Area and Fort Berthold.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm has produced damaging winds and is capable of
producing large hail.
