Description:
At 910 PM CDT /810 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles
west of Fort Yates, or 29 miles southwest of Linton, moving southeast
at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Yates, Selfridge, Cattail Recreation Area and Standing Rock.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.
