Description:
At 441 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northwest of
Wilton, or 29 miles north of Mandan, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. At around 425 PM CDT, quarter
size hail was reported in and southeast of Washburn.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Wilton, Center, Baldwin, Sanger, Cross Ranch State Park, Price,
Hensler, Nelson Lake and Fort Clark.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and has
produced large hail.
