At 817 PM CDT /717 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mandaree, or 32 miles east of Watford City, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near... Van Hook Park around 840 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Skunk Creek Bay Recreation Area, Pouch Point Recreation Area and Parshall Bay Recreation Area.
