At 629 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over New Town, or 22
miles south of Stanley, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
New Town, Van Hook Park, Belden and Crow Flies High State
Recreation Area.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
