Description:
At 1031 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles east of Green Plain, or 9 miles northwest of Boykins, moving
east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, pea size hail, and frequent
lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around
unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile
vehicles. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.

Courtland around 1050 PM EDT.
Franklin around 1100 PM EDT.
Suffolk around 1105 PM EDT.
Other locations impacted by this storm include Adams Grove, Handsom,
Topsy, Cleopus, Dort, Worrell, Riddicksville, Sunbeam, Lees Mill, and
Riverdale.
