Description:
At 1006 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Northwest, or 9 miles south of Great Bridge, moving southeast at 10
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around
unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile
vehicles. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Chesapeake and Northwest around 1010 PM EDT.
Other locations impacted by this storm include Belcross, Snowden, Tar
Corner, Gregory, Sharon, Munden, Barco, Coinjock, Riddle, and
Waterlily.

northeastern North Carolina...and southeastern Virginia.
