Description:
At 403 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fair Bluff, or 10 miles northeast of Mullins, moving southeast at 20
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Whiteville, Tabor City, Loris, Chadbourn, Bethel, Lake Waccamaw, Fair
Bluff, Lake View, Boardman, Fork, Hallsboro, Nakina, Redbug,
Southeastern Community College, Williams, Cherry Grove, Mollie,
Sidney, Barnesville, and Clarendon.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
