Description: 
At 843 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles north of York, or near Clover, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Rock Hill, York, Tega Cay, Clover, Newport, Kings Mountain State Park, Carowinds, Lake Wylie, Fort Mill, and Steele Creek.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for the Piedmont of North Carolina. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for Upstate South Carolina.
